Schloss Burgellern

Breakfast was great, good location for visiting the area. Restaurant was a bit expensive but lovely to be able to eat outside on the terrace. Swimming pool was a natural one on the large grounds. Staff were friendly and helpful. Schloss was a lovely converted monastery. We had a peaceful rejuvenating time.

Beautifully restored mansion house with a very modern wellness area. The breakfast is high quality food served in a lovely dining room with views over the lawn.

Such a lovely getaway, would have been even better in the summer when the grounds would be more open and have additional activities. The wellness space was nice, but again stuck indoors! Dinner was very good, we did the half board and it was worth it. Homemade honey and other local goodies were nice to have at breakfast. Close enough to easily explore Bamburg. Oh yes, and great wines to choose from!

The hotel is refined, peaceful, rural with an excellent restaurant & run by friendly helpful staff who understand fine hospitality. It was perfect! Delicious breakfasts & meals & my dog was made very welcome too. The property is set in a large park with gorgeous walks in every direction, in an idyllic village.
